- Based on last season's records, the Detroit Lions have the NFL's 15th-toughest schedule in 2015. At this time a year ago, the Lions had the 16th-toughest schedule on paper for 2014, but they ended up with one of the easiest schedules in the league once the games were actually played. In other words, a lot can change from season to season.
- According to Pro Football Focus, the Lions led the league in missed tackles on special teams in 2014.
