It's been a while since we've had any news to report about the Detroit Lions roster, but the team has already shown up twice on the NFL's official transactions report this week.
The most recent move took place on Tuesday and involved wide receiver/tight end Ifeanyi Momah being waived. Momah signed a futures deal with the Lions at the end of December, but the team waived him on Tuesday for failing to disclose a "physical condition." This means that he won't be joining the Lions after all.
In other news, offensive lineman Darren Keyton's contract was officially terminated via the waiver system on Monday. I was initially confused over why Keyton showed up on the transactions report considering the Lions waived him the day after the end of the regular season. However, it appears that he was stuck in waiver limbo during the playoffs, and he has only now officially cleared waivers.
The Keyton transaction was clearing waivers from when he was released before the playoff game

In any case, Keyton is no longer a member of the Lions. Perhaps he will sign a futures deal with them now that he is actually a free agent, but it's unclear at this time if the Lions have any plans to bring him back.
