The Detroit Lions have brought back another one of their free agents by re-signing safety Isa Abdul-Quddus. A deal was first reported as being close a couple of hours ago, and now Abdul-Quddus is officially back on a one-year contract.
Very excited to be back with the @Lions!!! #onepride

Abdul-Quddus joined the Lions a year ago after being claimed off waivers. He actually ended up making four starts for the Lions in 2014, and he did quite well in place of James Ihedigbo at the start of the season. Keeping that kind of depth around was a no-brainer for the Lions, especially when you consider that Abdul-Quddus can also contribute on special teams.
With Abdul-Quddus back, the Lions have now re-signed seven of their free agents. Here are the other six: Dan Orlovsky, Kellen Moore, Darryl Tapp, Josh Bynes, Don Muhlbach and Matt Prater.
