Garrett Reynolds is officially a member of the St. Louis Rams. As reported earlier, Reynolds headed to St. Louis on Wednesday, and his visit with the Rams concluded with a deal:
Rams announce they have signed OT Garrett Reynolds; probable third tackle.

Reynolds played both guard and tackle for the Detroit Lions last season. He was originally brought in to be a backup at guard, but injuries forced him into action at right tackle. He actually made four starts for the Lions in 2014, and he played in 10 total games overall.
This offseason, the Lions never publicly expressed any interest in re-signing Reynolds. There was some thought that he might be brought back considering the Lions have so little depth at guard, but they will have to look elsewhere to fill that particular need.
One option at guard is free agent Justin Blalock, who visited the Lions last week. He would likely be signed to start rather than serve as a backup, though. In other words, even if the Lions do add Blalock, there will still be a need for additional depth at guard.
