Live from Chicago (that still feels weird to type), the 2015 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday night with the first round. The second and third rounds will take place when the draft picks back up on Friday, and the final four rounds will be held on Saturday.
For the Detroit Lions, they have six picks going into this year's draft. They are set to pick in every round but the fourth, but that's bound to change once trades start happening. In any case, you can view the full draft order here, and below is a rundown of the Lions' six picks.
- Round 1 - Pick No. 23 (23)
- Round 2 - Pick No. 22 (54)
- Round 3 - Pick No. 24 (88)
- Round 5 - Pick No. 32 (168) *from New England via Tampa Bay*
- Round 6 - Pick No. 24 (200)
- Round 7 - Pick No. 23 (240)
Going into the draft, the Lions hosted 30 potential picks for pre-draft visits. Here on Pride Of Detroit, meanwhile, we took a look at various mock draft scenarios, analyzed the Lions' needs, profiled quite a few potential picks and ranked various position groups:
