Lions notes: Theo Riddick, Jim Caldwell, more

Lions notes looks at Theo Riddick, Jim Caldwell and much more.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports
  • Jim Caldwell seemingly has pretty high hopes for Theo Riddick in 2015. In fact, according to MLive, Caldwell said that he views Riddick as "one of those guys who's going to force us to give him the ball more." Hopefully that turns out to be the case, because last season it seemed like the Detroit Lions didn't give Riddick nearly enough touches on offense.

  • Joe Lombardi echoed Caldwell's thoughts on Riddick:
  • It certainly didn't feel like it, but Caldwell was surprisingly a pretty aggressive coach last season.

  • Arizona State safety Damarious Randall is reportedly scheduled to meet with the Lions at some point.

  • Hmm...
  • Who on earth would buy these jerseys?
  • If you haven't already checked out Jon Bois' "Bill Belichick Offseason Simulator," drop everything you're doing and go play around with it right now.
