- We probably won't get a real solid idea of where Bill Bentley and Nevin Lawson are at in their recovery from season-ending injuries until the Detroit Lions hit the field for OTAs later this month. However, Jim Caldwell provided a brief update on both players last week:

- Caldwell has recently been in contact with James Ihedigbo, who is sitting out the Lions' voluntary workouts in hopes of getting a new contract.
