- Pro Football Focus really seems to like the Detroit Lions' new backfield duo of Ameer Abdullah and Michael Burton:
Detroit Lions 2nd round RB Ameer Abdullah forced 66 missed tackles in 2014, 3rd most of all players from 2015 draft class
— Pro Football Focus (@PFF) May 4, 2015New Lion FB Michael Burton was our highest graded run blocking FB among draft eligible FBs
— Nathan Jahnke (@PFF_NateJahnke) May 2, 2015Lions 5th round pick Michael Burton played 631 snaps for Rutgers and had highest production grade of any FB in the FBS in 2014

- Speaking of backfield duos, this is just a great tidbit:
Amused by the fact the Lions came out of the Draft with RBs on the opposite end of the alphabet spectrum in Ameer Abdullah and Zach Zenner

- With all of this talk about fullbacks, it's fitting that former Lions fullback Cory Schlesinger was in Allen Park on Saturday to announce the team's final two picks.
- If you're engaged, married or were a captain in college, there's a very good chance the Lions will draft you.
New Lions DT Gabe Wright is engaged, wedding in March 2016. Of course.
— Josh Katzenstein (@jkatzenstein) May 2, 2015Michael Burton was indeed a captain at Rutgers. The #Lions certainly have a type.

- Along the same lines, MLive took a look at how intelligent the Lions' 2015 draft class is from an academic standpoint. Case in point:
Apparently Corey Robinson scored a 40 on his Wonderlic.

- ESPN's Michael Rothstein examined the Lions' draft-day trades from the perspective of the draft value chart.
- I would imagine that the NFL Draft is going to stay in Chicago for the foreseeable future.
We are announcing attendance of 200,000 people over three days for #nfldraft inside the Theatre, Selection Square & #DraftTown

- Finally, here's a breakdown of how many players were drafted at each position this year:
2015 #NFLDraft by position: C 5 G 16 T 26 DE 23 DT 16 LB 37 P 1 NT 2 WR 34 DB 47 TE 18 RB 23 QB 7 LS 1
