Fullback Michael Burton isn't the only former Rutgers player who joined the Detroit Lions this offseason. After drafting Burton in the fifth round, the Lions went on to sign former Rutgers linebacker Kevin Snyder as an undrafted free agent.

Outlook for 2015

The Lions are pretty deep at linebacker, so it's tough to envision a scenario where Snyder actually makes the team. However, if he shows enough promise on special teams -- as a coverage specialist and perhaps as a potential option at long snapper -- he could certainly stick around as a member of the practice squad.
