The Detroit Lions' offseason is beginning to wind down. Training camp, amazingly, is just a month and a half away, and before you know it, the Lions will be hitting the field for their first preseason game.
Before we start to look too far ahead, the Lions have one final event to complete as part of their offseason training program. Specifically, their mandatory minicamp will be held from Tuesday to Thursday this week. The entire team is expected to be in attendance, and the Lions will hold three practices during the minicamp:

The Lions' OTAs gave us a brief snapshot of how the team is progressing and where certain position battles stand right now. This mandatory minicamp should give us an even more in-depth look at those things over the course of the next three days.
Once the Lions complete their mandatory minicamp, they will break for a "vacation" of sorts before returning for training camp toward the end of July. At that point, the offseason will truly be complete with actual football set to begin.
