As it stands right now, the Detroit Lions have 34 players on their roster who are set to become free agents in 2016. Quite a few of these guys likely won't even make the team this summer, but the current list includes 25 players who will be unrestricted in 2016, four who will be restricted and five who will be exclusive-rights free agents. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and linebacker DeAndre Levy are probably the two most notable players entering contract years for the Lions. Ngata, of course, was just traded to the Lions this offseason, and the thinking has been that talks on an extension for him will begin once he gets "settled." As for Levy, extension talks with him apparently began back in April, but it's unclear if any real progress has been made at this point.
What jumps out to you about the Lions' list of 2016 free agents?
