NFL confirms Lions' 2016 opponents

I don't mean to look too far ahead, but the Detroit Lions' opponents for the 2016 season have been officially confirmed by the NFL.

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015 NFL Record & Fact Book was released by the league on Tuesday afternoon. While the overall focus of this publication is on the upcoming season, the NFL also confirmed the scheduling formula for the 2016 season within the book. This formula has been known for some time now, but the Detroit Lions' opponents for the 2016 season are now official:

Home opponents: Chicago BearsGreen Bay PackersMinnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, NFC West team

Away opponents: Chicago BearsGreen Bay PackersMinnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, NFC South team

In 2016, the Lions, along with the rest of the NFC North, are matched up against the NFC East and AFC South. They will also host an NFC West team and visit an NFC South team. Those matchups will be determined by the 2015 NFL standings.

I know we're all focused on the 2015 season with training camp almost here, but what stands out to you about the Lions' 2016 opponents?
