- EA Sports has revealed the Madden 16 ratings for the top five wide receivers in the game. The Detroit Lions' Calvin Johnson received a 95 overall rating, which put him behind Antonio Brown (97) and Dez Bryant (96).

- NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal has Matthew Stafford on his list of NFC players facing a make-or-break season. Rosenthal noted that the Lions aren't in a position where they are going to move on from Stafford if things go poorly this season, but he is "starting to wonder if Stafford ever improves." In other words, have we already seen the best Stafford has to offer, or is he still capable of much more going forward?
- The Green Bay Packers will be without a defensive lineman at the start of the season.
#Packers DT Letroy Guion has been informed, @NFL is suspended him 3 games for his Feb. 3 arrest. He’s appealing. (@RobDemovsky had it 1st)
