Detroit Lions training camp is almost here, and there are a lot of intriguing position battles worth watching this year. On offense, for example, starting jobs could be up for grabs at positions like running back, fullback, left guard and center. On the defensive side of the ball, meanwhile, there appear to be starting spots up for grabs at defensive tackle and strongside linebacker. In addition, several players are looking to step up as the top returner on special teams.
