The Detroit Lions will be without their No. 1 receiver Calvin Johnson for their "dress rehearsal" game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. DeAndre Levy, who missed a few practices earlier in the week, will also be inactive vs. the Jags. Most of the other inactives have been sidelined throughout the entirety of the preseason, so their aren't many surprises tonight.
Larry Warford and Caraun Reid both suffered the same ankle injury versus the Redskins last week, and it's likely that the coaching staff will be playing it safe until the regular season starts. Alex Carter and Joique Bell are getting much closer to returning, per reports, but will take at least another week off to avoid any setbacks.
With Warford out, Manny Ramirez will be filling in at right guard. This will also give fans a closer look at Laken Tomlinson, who will be starting in place of Ramirez's old spot at left guard. Darryl Tapp and Jermelle Cudjo will be filling in for Ansah and Reid, respectively. And for the third straight week, Corey Fuller will step in for Megatron.
