Following Friday's preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Lions welcomed a slow news day on the injury front. No Lions were injured during Friday's game (that we know of so far).
Saturday, coach Jim Caldwell addressed the status of two starting Lions that have been out. Joique Bell is currently on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and Haloti Ngata is on the non-football injury (NFI) list. The outlook, according to Caldwell, seems to be positive in regard to availability for the regular season:
Joique Bell/Haloti Ngata still on PUP/NFI for now but Caldwell said both are progressing nicely. I still expect both in lineup Week 1

Caraun Reid was spotted in a walking boot during Monday's practice. On Saturday, it would appear that the walking boot is now off. This is a good sign that Reid might be progressing well and should return within a reasonable time period.
There was also an update on Kyle Van Noy, who has been battling lingering issues:
Van Noy said he's not worried at all about this injury costing him a lot of time. He's week to week and feeling better.

There are still a few Lions that fans are awaiting word on, and we will update as the situation develops.
