- After practicing at Novi High School on Wednesday night, the Detroit Lions returned to Allen Park for an afternoon practice on Thursday.
-
DeAndre Levy was among the players absent from practice on Thursday. Considering he literally just signed his contract extension earlier in the day, I would assume that he was given the afternoon off or is simply nursing an extremely minor injury.
-
Jerel Worthy was able to practice after having an injury scare on Wednesday.
-
Joseph Fauria seemingly suffered an injury of some sort during Thursday's practice.
Joe Fauria back at practice, but no pads, wrap on left knee. He's done.

Alex Carter and LaAdrian Waddle remained out, but it sounds like they're both making some progress:
Alex Carter doing some very light jogging and back peddling off to the side today. He's been sidelined all week with a sprained ankle.

- Per Josh Katzenstein, Josh Wilson got a chance to return kicks on Thursday.
- The Lions mixed things up a bit by having their defensive position coaches work with players at other spots on the roster.

- This is nice to see:
Kyle Van Noy with a nice rush off the edge to sack Stafford. Didn't fall for the play action.

- This is very nice to see:
Eric Ebron with a couple more nice catches today, including one over right coverage from Abdul-Quddus

Darius Slay certainly isn't afraid to let you know about it when someone on defense makes a play.
