Lions notes: Tuesday's transactions, ask our PODcast, more

Today's Lions notes looks at Detroit's small transactions from Tuesday and seeks questions for our PODcast.

  • Tuesday, the Detroit Lions made a small transaction:
    You may remember, Ings is the former Arena League player with an amazing journey to the NFL. Sadly, this chapter of his career is now over. Clay is a former sixth-round pick in this year's draft. He was released by the Kansas City Chiefs, then was placed on their practice squad before the season started. However, last week the Chiefs cut him again. Clay has kick returns skills that may be valuable to the Lions.
  • On Tuesday, the Lions also brought in several players for a workout:
  • On Sunday, Ford Field will host Sunday Night Football for the first time in stadium history. In fact, the last time Detroit hosted SNF was way back in 1999, when they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-3.
