Detroit Lions injury report: Ansah returns; Levy, Pettigrew still out

While DeAndre Levy remains out of practice, the Detroit Lions got Ezekiel Ansah back on the practice field Thursday.

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

As we inch closer to gameday, the Detroit Lions appear to be getting slightly healthier. Ezekiel Ansah returned to practice Thursday in a limited fashion, after being held out Wednesday.

Safeties James Ihedigbo and Glover Quin were full participants in practice on Thursday, indicating they will be good to go on Sunday.

The status of LaAdrian Waddle is still a bit unknown. Like last week, he isn't even listed on the injury report. However, he still did not play in Sunday's game against the Vikings. During the portion of practice open to the media, Waddle was getting his ankle worked on by trainers:

The Lions could really use Waddle in the starting lineup as his replacement, Cornelius Lucas, has not been playing well.

Matthew Stafford was a full participant on Thursday, so don't expect to see Dan Orlovsky in the starting lineup Sunday night.
