Lions injury report: Pettigrew out, Levy doubtful

TE Brandon Pettigrew is the lone man ruled out for the Lions, but DeAndre Levy may miss another week of football. For Denver, a handful of players are questionable and doubtful.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday night is set at Ford Field for the Lions to take on the Denver Broncos, but Brandon Pettigrew will not be the lineup for Detroit, for he was ruled out on Friday's final injury report. One should not expect to see DeAndre Levy on Sunday as well, as he is still doubtful with his (mysterious?) hip injury. Full injury reports follow.

Numerous other Lions were listed as probable for Sunday's game. Injuries have already begun to set in, but Ezekiel Ansah managed to make "probable" despite missing practice on Wednesday and limited on Thursday. Matthew Stafford is also at "probable" and should be a lock for game time.

Larry Warford, who was not listed on injury reports on Wednesday or Thursday, was limited on Friday in practice. He is now listed as "probable" with an ankle injury.

On the other side of the ball, the Denver Broncos are nursing a series of injuries themselves. Cornerback Kayvon Webster has been listed as "doubtful," while defensive end Kenny Anunike and cornerback Omar Bolden were both listed as "questionable." Webster is nursing an ankle injury. With the Denver cornerback position already hosting these injuries, it is curious to note that Aqib Talib has been listed as "probable" with illness. He missed practice on Wednesday, where the Denver coaching staff admitted the same illness has been going around with a few of their players. It will be interesting to see if any of these issues impact Denver's top-rated pass defense.
