2015 roster cuts: Lions release Al Bond

Per Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News, the Lions have parted ways with offensive lineman Al Bond, formerly of the University of Memphis Tigers.

Al Bond, undrafted in 2015, joined the Lions with an outside chance to make the roster. Bond didn't see the field much during the preseason, so his release is not much of a surprise.
