2015 roster cuts: Lions part ways with Xavier Proctor

The offensive lineman posted his farewells to Twitter on Saturday after failing to make the 53-man roster.

On Saturday, offensive tackle Xavier Proctor posted his a farewell to Detroit Lions fans on Twitter, indicating that he has parted ways with the organization ahead of the 53-man roster deadline.

Xavier Proctor played most of his football career as a defensive tackle, but in the two years he spent on the Lions' practice squad, he was groomed into an offensive lineman. He never fully developed into the prospect Detroit was hoping for, but fortunately, he is still an eligible candidate for the practice squad.
