For the Detroit Lions' current 53-man roster, no news is good news. The Lions did not add anyone via the waiver wire, according to the NFL's list of transactions from Sunday.
Additionally, none of the players released by the Lions on Saturday were claimed by other teams. That means those players are now free agents, and the Lions can bring back any practice squad-eligible players to fill out their practice squad. That includes players like Joseph Fauria and Kellen Moore, who were not claimed by any other team.
This does not mean that the Lions will not make any changes to their current roster, but for now, those 53 men are safe.
