- The Detroit Lions released an "official" depth chart on Tuesday, and there were a couple interesting tidbits. Laken Tomlinson is listed as the second-string left guard, TJ Jones is the kickoff and punt return, and Tahir Whitehead is the starting outside linebacker. But don't read too much into it, as these things are likely to change often.
- In addition to adding quarterback Ricky Stanzi, the Lions signed the final player to their 10-man practice squad on Tuesday:
The #Lions have rounded out their 10-man practice squad with the signing of WR Saalim Hakim
— Tim Twentyman (@ttwentyman) September 8, 2015 - Former Lions guard Rodney Austin has been suspended for six games. This suspension is likely rooted in the two counts of assault Austin was found guilty of earlier in the year.
- If you're looking for a new wallpaper for your phone, there's a nice-looking schedule wallpaper for each team in the NFL (warning: game times are in Central Time Zone). UPDATE: It looks like they switched the Lions wallpaper to Eastern Time Zone. So enjoy!
- How did TJ Jones deal with the stress of cut day? He watched "Mad Max".
- The Detroit Lions threw together a neat infographic mapping out all of the Lions' trades this offseason:
