Lions notes: Matthew Stafford speaks on Calvin Johnson retirement talks

Today's Lions notes tackle Ziggy Ansah's team honors, more Bob Quinn talk and Matthew Stafford on Calvin Johnson's retirement.

  • The Detroit Lions continued with their team awards by naming Ezekiel Ansah the squad's defensive MVP. His 14.5 sacks on the season were enough for him to earn the nod over Darius Slay, who had a dominant year at cornerback. 

  • I joined Theo "Gridiron" Spight on the Forward Down the Field podcast to talk about Bob Quinn and my thoughts on Jim Caldwell's future. He also has Don Carey on as a guest, but if you just want to hear my segment, I jump in around the 33 minute mark:
