Lions notes: New alternate jerseys coming soon?

Monday's notes covers new jerseys, Tahir Whitehead's twitter rant and even more relocation news.

  • Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press dropped a little bit of news while answering a fan's question on twitter: Nothing is official yet, as the Lions have yet to confirm or deny this news. However, the Free Press reported similar news back in August 2015, so it seems likely this is true.

  • Barry Sanders did a guest column with the Free Press expressing his opinion on letting children play football. 

  • Tahir Whitehead went on an interesting twitter rant after a controversial personal foul penalty during the Conference Championship games on Sunday:
  • The two head coaches in Super Bowl 50? Ron Rivera and Gary Kubiak. Here's a fun fact about each of them: That's right, the Lions interviewed both Super Bowl head coaches in the past seven years. Ouch.
