The reports continue to come on more scheduled interviews for the Lions general manager position and the interviews with key individuals to determine who will earn that job. As with all things, members of the New England Patriots' front office always get tapped in these situations, and this hunt is no exception. Bob's been with the Patriots since 2000, where he began as a player personnel assistant. He has no playing experience, but his degree is in sports management from the University of Connecticut. He's been with the Patriots and their scouting arm for the entirety of his career, with his last promotion from Assistant Director of Pro Personnel to Director coming back in 2012.
It's another name in the bucket for the Lions and another check-down on the list of persons of interest to come out of the Patriots organization. And with that, Black Monday rolls along.
