  • Theo Riddick's amazing season doesn't stop with his franchise record 80 receptions. He also accomplished that feat without dropping a single pass:
  • Riddick was also "Wired for Sound" in Sunday's game against the Bears. He's quickly becoming one of the best mic'd up players on the team.

  • Earlier in the week, the Detroit Lions signed five practice squad players to futures deals. By signing those players to contracts, Detroit has ensured they will be on the 90-man squad at the beginning of the 2016 NFL year.

  • Matthew Stafford again is a candidate for the FedEx Air Player of the Week. Vote for him here.

  • Bill Belichick chimed in on Bob Quinn, one of the Lions' candidates for their general manager position. As you may have expected, it isn't all that insightful:
  • Rashean Mathis may not play next season if the Lions don't retain Jim Caldwell:
  • Jim Caldwell expects DeAndre Levy to be 100 percent by the start of next season.
