Ian Rapoport corroborated this story on Thursday.
White is the fourth candidate for the job alongside New England's Bob Quinn, New York's Kevin Abrams and Seattle's Trent Kirchner.
White has been with the team for 19 years, holding various roles including scouting on both the pro and college side of the business and eventually becoming the director of pro personnel in 2000. Before being promoted to the interim general manager position back in November, White was the Vice President of Pro Personnel for Detroit.
