The Detroit Lions made it official and announced they will be hiring Bob Quinn as their new general manager. The move comes just five days after the Lions' 2015 regular season came to a close.
While we've already established that not much is known about Quinn or what exactly his role will be with the Lions, it's time to give your opinion on the hire.
It's hard to feel strongly one way or another. On one hand, Quinn has been with a winning organization for his entire career and has undoubtedly had his hand in the four Super Bowls won during his employment with the New England Patriots. On the other hand, his role was never clearly defined in New England and it's impossible to know how integral he was to the team or how good he was at his job.
