Four games remain before the Detroit Lions have their week of rest. Though the Lions started off with a troubling 1-3 record, they could potentially rebound and not only have a winning record by their Week 10 bye week, but could even go a run with the three-game home stand they find themselves in the midst of.
Here’s a look at the next four games on the schedule:
Week 6: vs. Rams (3-2)
Week 7: vs. Washington (3-2)
Week 8: at Texans (3-2)
Week 9: at Vikings (5-0)
So today’s Question of the Day is:
What will the Lions’ record be by the bye week?
My answer: 4-5. At this point, the Lions are just playing too inconsistently to predict anything above two wins over the next four games. By record alone, this stretch of four games looks daunting. However, there’s a lot of reasons to be skeptical of the next three Lions opponents.
I think the Lions have a very good chance of winning this week over the Rams, and will probably pick up one win between Washington and Houston. However, unless the Vikings suffer 20 more injuries between now and November 6, I’m marking that as an "L" in pen.
Your turn.
