The Detroit Lions are sitting nicely back at .500 and barely out of a playoff spot at the moment. There are plenty wrong with the team at this point, and if they don’t correct them, they probably won’t make a postseason run.
But, who cares? We’re still in the afterglow of a win, and with that brings more football. The “Sunday Night Football” game features an AFC South showdown between the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.
Both teams have been minor disappointments through five weeks. The Texans were hoping to make a huge step this year, but the Brock Osweiler experiment isn’t off to a great start. The Colts, on the other hand, pretty much only have Andrew Luck going for them. Their defense is extremely bad and Luck’s offensive line isn’t very good either (sound familiar?).
Chat with us during this heated rivalry game and bask in the comfort that this game has no impact on the Lions.
