Last week, seven Detroit Lions players entered Sunday with the questionable designation from the team. All seven of those players ended up healthy enough to play against the Green Bay Packers.
This week, the Lions listed eight players as questionable for the game against the Chicago Bears, including leading receiver Marvin Jones Jr. Once again, it seems like the Lions are more using questionable as last year’s probable designation, which was removed this season. Six of the eight players on the injury report are active on Sunday and will play. Cornerback Adairius Barnes and starting safety Tavon Wilson are the only players not to make it on the active list this week. Players like Eric Ebron, Riley Reiff and Antwione Williams will play today despite dealing with injuries this week. Williams may be the most significant name on that list, because the Lions have been dealing with a load of injuries at linebacker, and while he’s just a fifth-round rookie, the Lions will take all the help they can get.
Aaron Dobson, who was added to the roster again this week, is a healthy scratch against the Bears.
On the Bears side, Jay Cutler is inactive, meaning the Lions will be facing Brian Hoyer, as expected. Alshon Jeffery, who dealt with both a hamstring and a knee injury this week, will play against the Lions.
The entire inactive list for each team is listed below:
