During Saturday’s game between the Michigan Wolverines and Illinois Fighting Illini, there was a short segment about the Coach Carr Unit at the University of Michigan hospital. This week, there was an event for the “Whip Cancer campaign” which helps raise money and awareness for fighting all different types of cancer. Much like the “Ice Bucket Challenge” the movement uses a fun stunt to get people to pay attention. But instead of using ice water, the Whip Cancer campaign uses pies to the face.
Former Detroit Lions general manager Matt Millen was calling the game between Michigan and Illinois, so he was at the event this week. Much to our and everyone in Detroit’s delight, Millen participated in the event. That meant that this girl below got to take part in something that all of us have dreamed of at one point in the past eight years.

This girl is indeed a hero, but that’s not even the best part of it. According to the Big Ten Network announcer Kevin Kugler, the girl said, “This is for all of the Lions fans,” right before hurling the pie into Millen’s face. Thank you, little girl. You are the best.
