Lions-Washington inactives: Dwayne Washington OUT, Larry Warford IN

The Lions will be getting one guy back on offense, but remain shorthanded at running back.

NFL: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions will be scraping the bottom of the barrel again at running back this week, as both Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington are inactive for the second straight week. That leaves Detroit relying upon Zach Zenner and Justin Forsett as the two healthy backs against Washington.

Along with those those two, the normal crew is sidelined. DeAndre Levy, Eric Ebron and Haloti Ngata are out for another week. The good news is that Larry Warford is back after sitting out last week. It will be interesting to see where the Lions fit him in this week after shuffling the offensive line against the Rams.

The biggest concern for Washington was the availability of wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. Even though he did not practice all week, Jackson is active this week and should play his normal amount on Sunday.
