The Detroit Lions won again and have now won three straight against teams who had winning records. Sitting at 4-3, Detroit has to be part of the NFC playoff conversation and Matthew Stafford probably deserves to be in the MVP conversation. There’s still a ton of football to be played, so those conversations are for another day.

Speaking of more football to be played, “Sunday Night Football” features a heated NFC West battle between the Seattle Seahawks (4-1) and the Arizona Cardinals (3-3). Much like the Lions, the Cardinals have pulled themselves out of a 1-3 hole and are looking to join Detroit at 4-3. Seattle is hoping to extend their lead in the division and move to the top of the NFC with a big road win.

For the Lions, it’s probably best for Seattle to run away with the division while everyone else in the West falls flat on their face. So if you’re already scoreboard watching, root for Seattle tonight.
