NFL: Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions lost to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. For the past three years, that would typically mean the Lions had hit rock bottom. National analysts aren’t quite there yet. The Lions took quite a tumble in several power rankings this week—and justifiably so. But for the most part, the Lions are still out of the top bottom five in the league.

With three straight losses, the Lions are well on their way to finding rock bottom, but with 12 other teams also sitting at 1-3 right now, the Lions are in good company. Here’s where they rank after four weeks in the 2016 season.

There aren’t that many surprises this week, and sadly ESPN’s poll didn’t have some weird justification for moving the Lions up this week. No one can deny the tragedy of a loss to the Bears.

Unfortunately for the Lions, things could go downhill in a hurry. The Lions will face one of three remaining undefeated teams this week, and the experts are in love with the Philadelphia Eagles. All power rankings have Philly in the top ten, and several have them as a top five team in the league right now. The Eagles ranks 5th (SB Nation), 6th (NFL.com), 5th (Yahoo!), 5th (CBS), 3rd (Mile High Report), 4th (USA Today) and 7th (ESPN) in the above sites.
