A lot has gone wrong for the Detroit Lions through four weeks. Not only have they lost three straight games, but two of those losses came against teams that are otherwise winless.
While the defense has rightfully taken the brunt of the blame, there have been plenty of issues on the other side of the ball as well. No one unit is completely absolved from blame for the Lions’ disappointing 1-3 start.
So with that in mind, today’s Question of the Day is:
Which Lions player has been the biggest disappointment through the first four games?
My answer: Golden Tate would be the obvious answer here, but since Marvin Jones has mostly compensated for Tate’s slow start, I’m going to look elsewhere. In 2015, Tyrunn Walker looked like a player ready to take over the starting defensive tackle job for years to come before breaking his leg in Seattle. Expectations were high for Walker to reclaim that role after having nearly a full year to heal, but it just hasn’t worked out that way. Walker has just 11 tackles on the year and only one of those were for a loss. Walker isn’t the only player failing on the defensive line, but his performance is certainly the most disappointing.
Your turn.
