Lions-Eagles expert predictions: There are still a few believers in the Lions

Despite plummeting expectations, two Pride Of Detroit staffers are picking the Lions to win on Sunday.

The Pride Of Detroit staff was unanimously wrong last week as the Bears upset the Lions in a poorly played game. The impact of that game has clearly turned the staff against the Lions, and just two of us are picking Detroit this week. That shouldn’t come as much surprise considering the undefeated Eagles are in town.

But the most of the staff here isn’t only predicting an Eagles win, but a blowout. Of the 10 score predictions below, five are predicting a two-score win for Philly. Here’s a look at our picks:

[Editor’s note: Mike Payton is choosing not to pick scores, simply the winners this season]

Alex Reno (2-2): 38-0 Eagles
Justin Simon (2-2): 28-17 Eagles
Joseph Buszek (2-2): 24-21 Lions
Kyle Yost (2-2): 28-24 Eagles
Ryan Mathews (2-2): 35-17 Eagles
Andrew Kato (2-2): 31-24 Eagles
Chris Lemieux (2-2): 9-9 tie
Brian Packey (2-2): 24-14 Lions
Mike Payton (2-2): Eagles win
Jeremy Reisman (2-2): 34-13 Eagles
Kent Lee Platte (1-2): 24-7 Eagles

Now it’s your turn to make a prediction. Below you can submit your pick to represent Pride Of Detroit. But don’t forget to add your score in the comment section for a chance to be honored in our weekly On Paper column. The closest prediction to the actual score will get a photoshopped award for their accomplishment—unless you’re a Bears fan.
