The Detroit Lions’ injury report is filled with the same usual suspects and the final one before their game against the Philadelphia Eagles holds no surprises. Ezekiel Ansah and DeAndre Levy are out for another week, while Eric Ebron, who did not practice all week, is also out.
The Lions listed an additional three players as questionable for Sunday’s game. Through four weeks, the Lions have been using the questionable designation more like “probable” since that status no longer exists in injury reports. So even though Marvin Jones, Don Carey and Tavon Wilson are all listed as questionable, there’s a good chance all three play. Only Carey was limited in Friday’s practice.
However, Dwayne Washington could definitely sit out this Sunday. Washington is listed as doubtful, and did not practice all week. If he cannot go, expect the Lions to promote newly acquired Mike James from the practice squad to act as the Lions’ third running back behind Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner.
On the Eagles side, the team only has one player listed on the injury report: defensive tackle Bennie Logan, who was added to the report midweek with a calf injury. He was limited in practice on Thursday and sat out completely on Friday. The Eagles have listed him as questionable for Sunday. Logan is a starter for the Eagles’ strong defensive line, so Philly would actually be a little hurt by that injury.
