When the Detroit Lions chose not to promote Mike James from the practice squad, it looked like rookie Dwayne Washington may be good to go against the Philadelphia Eagles despite being labeled as doubtful on the injury report. However, Washington is inactive for Sunday and will not play.
That means the Lions’ only active running backs this week will be Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner. The Lions will also have fullback Michael Burton for additional carries, if necessary.
Marvin Jones is active and will play against the Eagles, despite dealing with a foot injury all week. All the other Lions listed as questionable, including Don Carey and Tavon Wilson are active
On the Eagles side, defensive tackle Bennie Logan, who was listed as questionable with a calf injury, is active this week. This means that all of the Eagles inactive players are healthy scratches. Here is a look at each team’s inactive players for this week.
Lions inactives
G Joe Dahl
OT Cornelius Lucas
TE Eric Ebron
DE Ezekiel Ansah
LB DeAndre Levy
RB Dwayne Washington
DT Stefan Charles
Eagles inactives
DE Steven Means
WR Bryce Treggs
S Terrence Brooks
C Josh Andrews
G Dillon Gordon
T Halapoulivaati Vaitai
G Isaac Seumalo
UPDATE: Adam Caplan provided two updates on Lions players. There was good news for one, bad news for the other:
On #Lions Ziggy Ansah (high ankle): Testing showed just a high ankle sprain, no surgery needed. Optimism that he starts practicing soon.

On #Lions TE Eric Ebron (ankle, knee): source said recovery for injuries probably "couple of weeks."
