Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings: Thanksgiving game time, online streaming, TV schedule, radio, announcers, more

Here is the gameday information you need for the Lions’ Thanksgiving Day Classic

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

For the first and only time this season, the Detroit Lions will open up play for Week 12. All eyes will be on the Lions as they take on the division rival Minnesota Vikings in the first game on Thanksgiving Day.

Thursday marks the Lions’ 77th game on Thanksgiving and very little games in that long history have meant as much as this game does. A win would separate the Lions from the Vikings by two games (one by record, another by a tiebreaker) atop the NFC North. A loss would catapult the Vikings into first place and draw the tiebreaker into the Vikings favor for the time being. With just five games left after this game, the stakes don’t get too much higher in Week 12.
