The Detroit Lions game against the Minnesota Vikings was filled with thrilling moments yet again. No one person in the world makes exciting Lions football better than the Lions’ radio announcer Dan Miller.
Miller was at the top of his game yet again on Thanksgiving and his calls during the Lions’ 16-13 victory over the Minnesota Vikings will give you chills just listening to it.
Let’s start with the biggest play of the game: Darius Slay’s fourth quarter interception to eventually win the game.
“Oh Darius, how big are you, young man?” Very big, Dan. Very big.
Miller followed up the call with another classic on Matt Prater’s game-winning 40-yard field goal:
“How about this team? They’re never dead,” Miller said as his voice squealed with excitement.
The Lions also had a huge fourth down stop earlier in the game. Miller was on it:
This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for Dan Miller and we’re thankful for the Detroit Lions. Enjoy the holiday, everyone. The Lions are 7-4 and in first place.
