Week 12 Sunday NFL games open thread

Chat during the slew of games during Sunday.

The Detroit Lions have football Sunday off for the second time in three weeks. With a nice comfortable seat atop the NFC North, Lions players can rest easy knowing that no matter what happens during Sunday’s games, nothing will change the fact that they lead their division.

As for us fans, we are treated to the same knowledge. We can sit back and enjoy Sunday—as a nice chance to forget Saturday, for some of us—and know that our Lions are in first place and will remain so until at least for two more weeks.

Here’s a look at the schedule of games today:

1 p.m Games

Cardinals (4-5-1) at Falcons (6-4) - 1 p.m. ET - FOX
Giants (7-3) at Browns (0-11) - 1 p.m. ET - FOX
Rams (4-6) at Saints (4-6) - 1 p.m. ET - FOX
49ers (1-9) at Dolphins (6-4) - 1 p.m. ET - FOX
Bengals (3-6-1) at Ravens (5-5) - 1 p.m ET - CBS
Titans (5-6) at Bears (2-8) - 1 p.m. ET - CBS
Jaguars (2-8) at Bills (5-5) - 1 p.m. ET - CBS
Chargers (4-6) at Texans (6-4) - 1 p.m. ET - CBS

Late afternoon games

Patriots (8-2) at Jets (3-7) - 4:25 p.m. ET - CBS
Seahawks (7-2-1) at Buccaneers (5-5) - 4:05 p.m. ET - FOX
Panthers (4-6) at Raiders (8-2) - 4:25 p.m. ET - CBS

Sunday night game:

Chiefs (7-3) at Broncos (7-3) - 8:30 p.m. - NBC

If you’re wondering what game is on in your local area, check out 506 Sports for a TV coverage map. The Metro Detroit area will have Bengals-Ravens on CBS in the morning and Panthers-Raiders in the afternoon. On FOX, the Detroit area will only get the late game between the Seahawks and Buccaneers.
