Hey look! It’s Saturday night and there’s NFL to be played. It may be the AFC, and it may be between two teams of little interest, but it’s NFL football on a Saturday and there’s nothing better to do if you’re stuck inside because of a snowstorm.

Tonight’s matchup features an 8-5 Miami Dolphins team that is just barely on the outside of the playoff picture. They have the same record as the Broncos, who hold the six-seed, but Denver currently holds the tiebreaker via strength of victory. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they will have to make a run at the playoff without Ryan Tannehill for the rest of the regular season, who sprained his ACL and MCL last week.

The Dolphins face off against a Jets team who has been mathematically eliminated at 4-9. New York, too, will be without their starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, but only because head coach Todd Bowles has decided to bench him in favor of Bryce Petty.

So get ready for the battle of the backups in what promises to be... a football game.
