Lions injury report: Ansah practices in full on Friday, Whitehead questionable for Sunday

Two top linebackers remain question marks for the Lions going into New Orleans.

Six Detroit Lions are questionable heading into Sunday’s showdown with the New Orleans Saints, including two linebackers. While DeAndre Levy enters his second week marked questionable—and with reports that he is unlikely to playTahir Whitehead was also added to the injury report this week with a knee injury. He was limited in practice all week.

In addition to those two, Theo Riddick, Marvin Jones, Don Carey and Ezekiel Ansah were also questionable. Riddick, Jones and Carey practiced in limited capacity in all week, while Ansah was in full practice on Friday, which puts him squarely in the formerly “probable” territory.

For the Saints, Mark Ingram is questionable after not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday. He returned to practice on Friday, but in a limited capacity. However, a bigger loss might be in left tackle Terron Armstead, who was marked out. To understand a Saints’ perspective on the loss of Armstead, check out our First Byte preview podcast. The full reports follow.
