The Detroit Lions received welcome news as Darius Slay and Travis Swanson returned to practice on Wednesday, offering boosts along the offensive line and the defensive backfield. Both were at practice again on Thursday, pointing up in signs that they will play in what could be a do-or-die scenario for the Detroit Lions. However, running back Theo Riddick and return man Andre Roberts remain out, with signs trending downwards that either might play.
Theo Riddick’s absence has forced the Lions to turn to Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner in the ground game, with little remaining depth if either of them gets hurt. The loss of Riddick also deprives Matthew Stafford of an important receiving threat out of the backfield.
DeAndre Levy has remained limited in practice since returning but should be expected to play on Sunday. Killebrew has an eye injury but was in full practice.
For the Packers, Randall Cobb missed a second day of practice, which could potentially deprive Green Bay of a weapon if he does not appear on Sunday. The full reports follow below.
