Travis Swanson missed a second day of practice while working through the concussion protocol, casting a shadow over the possibility that the Lions starting center will be available for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears at Ford Field.
Details are still scarce on Swanson’s progress, but a second missed practice is not a positive sign. In other positions, Ezekiel Ansah and Theo Riddick, both of whom missed practice on Wednesday, returned in limited capacity, joining six other Lions who were limited on Thursday.
For the Bears, they were without Eddie Royal and linebacker Willie Young. The full reports follow below.
