The Detroit Lions will be without their starting center, Travis Swanson, on Sunday when they host the Chicago Bears. Swanson suffered all week with a concussion and did not clear concussion protocol by Friday, so he is officially out.
The loss of Swanson probably moves rookie Graham Glasgow to center, which would shift another Lions player into Glasgow’s current position at guard—likely Laken Tomlinson.
Meanwhile, eight other Lions are marked as questionable, including Don Carey and Tahir Whitehead. While most should play, there will be names to keep an eye on for the inactives list when it comes out on Sunday.
For the Bears, they have marked wide receiver Eddie Royal and tackle Mike Adams as doubtful. Newly acquired Johnthan Banks, who was waived by the Lions and claimed by Chicago, is questionable with a hamstring injury. The full reports follow.
