- About a week ago, DeAndre Levy first started his campaign against the NFL, posting a picture of Dr. Elliot Pellman, a doctor infamous for his denial of the serious consequences of concussions. He captioned the picture: "Why is Dr. Elliot Pellman, the rheumatologist who helped concealed and lied about the link between football and CTE, still employed by you guys?"
Friday, Levy continued his criticism of the league: - I'm guessing a lot of you lost interest in March Madness after Friday (quiet, Chris Lemieux). But worry not, the Detroit Free Press has a bracket of the most important Detroit Lions for 2016.
- After losing out on Russell Okung, many speculated the Lions may be interested in a trade for Ryan Clady, who is apparently now on the trading block. But the Lions will reportedly have some competition:
Told by a source there are 4-5 teams considering a trade for Ryan Clady.
— Jason Cole (@JasonColeBR) March 18, 2016 - Speaking of Okung, he may have to find himself a new agent (he doesn't currently have one):
Former Seahawks' OT Russell Okung's 5-year contract with the Denver Broncos contains not one dollar of guaranteed money.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 18, 2016 - It sounds like the Lions' new safety, Rafael Bush, is ready to go:
.@rbush36 said he received welcome text from @GloverQuin27 after signing w/ @Lions.Rafael has buried himself in film study, too @SiriusXMNFL
— Alex Marvez (@alexmarvez) March 18, 2016 - Even though Joique Bell is still currently a free agent, he is enjoying his offseason with former teammate Ezekiel Ansah:
According to snapchat, Joique Bell is in Ghana with Ziggy Ansah. Pretty cool.
